- To apply for a security worker license (automotive locksmith license), the applicant must first complete training programs. Find further information by contacting the security program Link
- The applicant will need to complete the apprenticeship program, here is the link to determine if the applicant is eligible: Link
- The applicant will need to write an exam. Find further information here Link
- Find the course guide under the “Information that might help” section of this page.
- Once the applicant completes the course, they will need on the job training to reach the journeyman level, find the guide under the “Information which might help” section of this page.
- The applicant will need to write an exam to reach journeyman level. Use the following Link
- The applicant will need to present copies of the documents. Find a list of documents under the “Required Documents” section of this page. Submit the documents to the Security Program.
- Once the applicant completes all the prerequisite trainings, they will be licensed to work in Saskatchewan.
- The applicant shall receive their license within a few weeks from the submission of the application.
