Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To apply for Grazing Licenses (FGL) in person, the applicant has to visit the Lands Branch in the Department of Agriculture.
2. Address and Contact details of the office can be found in the following Contact link
3. The applicant has to visit the office as applicable and obtain an Application for Grazing Licence from the respective department.
4. While visiting the office, the applicants should carry the documents listed in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. The applicant has to complete the application with required details in respective fields under each section and submit it to the relevant official with the required documents.
6. The applicant has to pay the non-refundable Assignment fees of $3150 (no GST), as cheque, money order or any other available payment modes.
7. Then, the submitted application and attached documents will be assessed and verified.
8. Upon completion of the assessment and verification, the applicant will be intimated through phone or email to collect the approved Grazing Licence.

Eligibility

• Any person in Saskatchewan, who wishes to use lands in the green and white areas for grazing of livestock, can apply.

Fees

• The applicant has to pay the non-refundable Assignment fees of $3150 (no GST), as cheque, money order or any other available payment modes.

Validity

• Grazing Licences are issued for a maximum of 10 years.
