- To apply for an Explosive Importation Permit or License, the applicant has to approach Natural Resources Canada (NRCan). Here is the contact Link
- The applicant has to download the form from the given following Link
- Fill out the application form with all the relevant details.
- The applicant will need to submit additional documents, find the required documents under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- The applicant will need to pay fees. Find further information under the “Fees” section of this page.
- Submit the application form by mailing it to the address mentioned under the “Office Locations and Contacts” section of this page.
- Once the application form has been approved by the authorities, the applicant shall receive their permit by mail within a few weeks from the submission of the application.

- The applicant must be 18 years of age or above.
- The applicant must have a storage site to store the imported goods.
FeesEdit
- $164 plus $20 for each 1,000 kg NEQ imported subject to a maximum fee of $1,324, calculated:
- On the basis of the estimated maximum quantity to be imported during the year, for an initial application.
- Or on the basis of the quantity imported during the most recent year, for any subsequent application
