Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To apply for an Automotive Salesperson License, the applicant will need to contact the nearest financial and Consumer Affairs Authority of Saskatchewan. Use the following contact Link
2. Once the applicant contacts the authorities, they will be given an application form. Fill out the application form with all the relevant details.
3. The applicant must submit all the required documents as mentioned under the “Required Documents” section of this page. The applicant can find information on how to submit the documents in the application form.
4. The applicant will also need to pay fees for registration, find fee-related information under the “Fees” section of this page.
5. The applicant will need to submit a Criminal record check obtained from the nearest RCMP.
6. Submit the application form along with the documents in-person to the address mentioned under the “Office Locations and Contacts” section of this page.
7. Once the applicant submits the application they will get their license either by mail or must collect it in person as will be intimated by the authorities.
8. The applicant shall be registered within 30 days from the completion of the course.

• The applicant must mandatorily go through a criminal record check.
• The applicant must be a salesperson in Saskatchewan.

Fees

• The applicant has to mandatorily renew license every year, if they engage in business without renewing their license, they could face enforcement action.
• The applicant has to go through a background check and they must pay for it.
