Rwanda - Search for a Registered Nurse in the Nurses Register (Midwife)

ProcedureEdit
- The registrar of the National Council of Nurses and Midwives (NCNM) of Rwanda enters and maintains on the appropriate record, the name and address of every person registered under the Nurse Act together with his professional qualifications and such other particulars as may be prescribed by the Council.
Apply Online:
- A Person should browse the NCNM – e-Portal, hover the cursor over the “Check Register” tab, located on the right side of the screen.
- On the next page applicant will be required to enter, the registered practitioner’s Name, License Number, select the practitioner’s Professional Title, Location where the practitioner is currently operating, and start the search by clicking on the “Search” button, or search for all of the Applicants by leaving all of the fields empty and clicking on the “Search” button.
- Upon clicking the “Search” option the following details will be displayed on the screen immediately.
- Profile picture of the practitioner
- Full names of the Registered Nurse/ Midwife
- Level of education
- Registration certificate and practice number
- Registration Date/ expiration date
- With this the researcher can confirm the registration details of the Registered Nurse/ Midwife. The are no fees associated with this service.

- Full Name of the Registered Nurse or Midwife
- Professional category (Nurse or midwifery)
- Locate where the medical practitioner operates
- Practitioner Id card/Passport number
