Procedure

• Fill the application form with complete information.
• Submit the application form personally along with the necessary documents.
• The applicant shall then take digital impressions and facial image.
• Pay the applicable fee.

Required Documents

• ID card, temporary ID card or, where appropriate, the identity card in shelf life in original. Temporary identity card must be accompanied by original birth certificate
• Original proof of payment of fees for issuing passport
• Previous passport in original, if any

Eligibility

Must be a Romanian citizen.

Fees

• Passport cost 270 (payable in units of CEC Bank)
• Consular fee 32 (payable in units of CEC Bank or the Treasury)

Validity

The validity of the passport is 5 years from the date of issuance.
