Procedure

1. Consumers with water connection from the respective board are responsible for paying water bill (tax) to the respective board.
   
2. Water bill will be generated periodically by the board executive.
3. Payment can be made either offline OR online i.e. via Net Banking, Credit card, Debit card, etc.
   
   

Apply In-Person

1. Please make sure that you have the water bill in hand. Otherwise, please go to your area bill paying office and provide your connection details to get the bill amount.

3. In order to pay water bill in person, please visit the local board office. Submit the water bill at the respective counter along with charges. Authorities will verify and process the payment.
4. User will be provided a receipt for the payment received and keep it safe for future reference.
   
   

Apply Online - Rajasthan Pay Water Bill (Tax) Online with Images

1. Go to the online portal: link for online portal
2. In the given page please click “Apply Now” button under “Water Bill Submission”.
3. User will reach a new page. Please select the “Provider” from the drop down list and complete the other requirements as appropriate. Finally click “Get Bill Details” button.
4. User will get a new page containing details for the provided consumer number.
5. Please check the details and follow the onscreen information and instructions to make online payment.
6. Please save the system generated acknowledgement for future reference.
   
   

Through CSC

1. Applicant shall approach the CSC centre to pay the bill.

3. Go to the respective centre.
4. Submit the water bill at the respective counter along with charges. Authorities will verify and process the payment.
5. User will be provided a receipt for the payment received and keep it safe for future reference.

BBPS (Bharath Bill Payment System)

1. Use the following link to pay at your area BBPS outlet as per pin code: BBPS outlet link
   
2. Please select “FIND NEAREST BHARAT BILLPAY OUTLET” option provided at the bottom of the page.
   
3. In the given page, enter your pin code at the box provided and hit “Pincode” button to reach the next page with list of agent’s contact details.
4. Please note down the nearest agent address and pay directly.
   
   

Other modes

1. Applicant shall make the payment through the banks as recognised by the respective state water board.
2. Post offices in various parts of India are authorized to collect payments for your water bill. Know your nearest post office through which you can pay your water bill.
3. In rural, a common practice is to pay water bill at the Village Panchayat office or the ‘Sarpanch’ or a designated authority. Please get the information from the local water board office and make your payment.
4. Mobile Wallets like Paytm, MobiKwik, Google pay, Phonepe etc comes with a feature that enables you to make water bill payment. Consumers first contact the local water board authority and get clarification on the approved wallet services and then pay.

Eligibility

• Consumers are eligible to pay the water bill as per the bill generated for the usage periodically.
• The individual should be a resident of the state.

Fees

• Water bills are generated with the fixed rates applicable for the units consumed as per the state regulations.
• As a consumer, it is mandatory to pay prescribed amount as advised by respective board.

Validity

• The water bill generated for the period has to be paid before the due date.
• There will be a penalty for late payment. Authorities have the power to suspend the connection.
• This payment is valid for the consumed water.
