Procedure

Apply In-Person

1. To apply for motor driving school license or permit in Rajasthan the applicant has to approach the RTO office of the area.
   
2. Information related to the RTO offices and licensing authority can be obtained from the “Office and Location” Section of this page.
   
3. You will have to submit Application in application form no. 11 and application form no.12 along with the required documents in front of licensing authority.
   
4. Application form no. 11 can be downloaded through following link: form no. 11
   
5. Application form no. 12 can be downloaded through following link: form no. 12
   
6. Application forms can also be obtained from the appropriate RTO offices and should be completed and presented with appropriate fees.
   
7. The applicant should make sure they are eligible for applying for motor driving license by reading through the eligibility criteria that has been listed out under the “Eligibility” section of this page.
   
8. Please make sure you have all the documents that are listed down the “Required Document” section of this page.
   
9. Present the completed application forms in one of the counters and pay the appropriate fee where the officials would start processing your application.
   
10. After verification officials will process the application and send the updated driving license on the mentioned address.

1. You can also apply for a Motor driving school license through the National Portal, the following link will give you access to the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, Government of India: National Portal
   
2. Or, You can also visit Website and select “driving license-related services” from the drop-down menu of online services.
   
3. You will be redirected to the page where you can select the State “Rajasthan” option from the States listed.
   
4. Once you select the State, you will be redirected to the next page.
   
5. Click on apply online
   
6. From the given “apply online” options select “New Driving school license”, you will be redirected to the instructions page.
   
7. Fill the Applicant’s Details as instructed.
   
8. Upload the required Documents mentioned on this page
   
9. Submit the application.

Eligibility

• Any individual who has state certification, properly equipped car and high risk insurance is eligible for opening the driving school.
  

Fees

• Issue of license for driving schools: Rs. 10,000
  

Validity

• Motor Driving School License is valid for five years.
