Apply In-Person

  1. To apply for duplicate conductor license in Rajasthan the applicant has to approach the RTO office of the area.
  2. Information related to the RTO offices and licensing authority can be obtained from the “Office and Location” Section of this page or use the following link link.
  3. The applicant will have to submit Application in application form no. RS 3.1 along with the required documents in front of licensing authority.
  4. Application forms can be obtained from the appropriate RTO offices and should be completed and presented with appropriate fees.
  5. The applicant should make sure they are eligible for applying for motor driving license by reading through the eligibility criteria that has been listed out under the “Eligibility” section of this page.
  6. Please make sure you have all the documents that are listed down the “Required Document” section of this page.
  7. Present the completed application forms in one of the counters and pay the appropriate fee where the officials would start processing your application.



Apply Online via National Portal

  1. In order to apply for online, please follow the link : online portal
  2. Please select "Online Services" from the menu and click on "Driver License Related Services".
  3. You will be taken to a new screen where you have to select “Rajasthan” in the drop down menu against “Please select the State from where the service is to be taken”.
  4. Once you select the State, you will be redirected to the page, Sarathi Home page
  5. Click on apply online
  6. From the given “apply online” options select “Services on Conductor license”,
  7. you will be redirected to application page: Online Portal
  8. Fill the Applicant’s Details as instructed and proceed
  9. Upload the required Documents mentioned on the page
  10. Submit the application.

EligibilityEdit

  • Person whose existing conductor’s license is lost or damaged is eligible for duplicate conductor’s license.

  • Duplicate conductor’s license fees: Rs. 10

ValidityEdit

  • The validity of the license is 3 years from the date of issue or date of expiry whichever is earlier.

Need for the DocumentEdit

  • If an existing conductor’s license is lost or damaged, the license holder needs to apply for duplicate license to continue his duty as conductor. The duplicate license is marked in Red as “duplicate”.

  • Refusal to grant of conductor’s license : A conductor license is refused if,
(a) the applicant does not possess the minimum educational qualification;
(b) the medical certificate produced by the applicant discloses that he is physically unfit.
(c) his previous conductor’s license is revoked.
  • Revocation of a conductor’s license on grounds of disease or disability
(1) A conductor’s license is revoked if the holder of the license is suffering from any disease or disability which is likely to render him permanently unfit to hold such a license.
(2) If the authority revoking a conductor’s license is not the authority which issued the same, it has to intimate the fact of such revocation to the original authority.
(3) The licensing authority before revoking the license, is required to give a reasonable opportunity of being heard.
  • Power of licensing authority to disqualify
(a) A licensing authority is empowered to disqualify the holder of a conductor’s license on account of his previous conduct as a conductor.
(b) The licensing authority has to give reasons in writing and is empowered to disqualify person for a specified period, not exceeding one year.
(c) Before disqualifying the holder of a license, the licensing authority has to give a reasonable opportunity of being heard.
(d) The holder of the conductor’s license has to surrender his license to the authority and the authority has to keep the license until the disqualification period is expired or removed.
(e) If the authority disqualifying the holder of a conductor’s license is not the authority which issued the license, it has to intimate the same to the authority which issued the same.
