Procedure

1. Complete the application form in the following link http://www.support.transport.qld.gov.au/qt/formsdat.nsf/qtforms/QF3000
2. Show your foreign license, may be with the appropriate transulation
3. show your supporting evidence of identity including Queensland residency documents. Evidence of Identity - http://www.tmr.qld.gov.au/Licensing/Getting-a-licence/Identification-requirements.aspx
4. Just make sure you also can prove that you are meducally fit to drive.
5. Pass an eye test.
6. Pass the road rules test and pay the fees
7. Pass the practical driving test and pay the fees.
