Apply online

  1. To Apply for Career Adjustment Payment Claim, the applicant has to make the application online via link
  2. If the applicant is the user click the “Create account”.
  3. Select the option of Continue with Email or Continue with Digital Identity.
  4. Read the terms and conditions and click the “Next” button.
  5. Enter the email ID and click the “Next” button.
  6. The applicant will get the code from the given email and enter the code and then click the “Next” button.
  7. Enter the mobile number and click the “Next” button.
  8. Now create the password and click the “Next” button.
  9. In the final step, the applicant will be asked a question, complete the answer and click the “Submit” button.
  10. The applicant has to now go back to the sign-in page.
  11. Enter the username and password and click the “Sign-in” button.
  12. The applicant has to select the claim in the list.
  13. Followed by selecting the “Career Adjustment Payment Claim” option from the list.
  14. The applicant has to enter all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
  15. Also, upload all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  16. Once completed with all the information click the “Submit” button.
  17. There is no fee for Career Adjustment Payment Claim.
  18. After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
  19. An acknowledgment receipt will be provided. Please save it for future reference.
  20. Then the application will be processed further. All the updates on the application status will be sent via SMS to the applicant’s mobile number.
  21. Every application is considered on a case-by-case basis and a decision on Carer Adjustment Payment claims will be made by a senior officer in the Department of Social Services (DSS).
  22. Once the process gets completed, the applicant gets a call from the office regarding the application.
  23. This entire process can be completed within 10 – 20 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.

  2. An application form will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer. or it can be downloaded from the following link
  3. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
  4. Make sure that the applicant has attached all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  5. The applicant has to attach the photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting.
  6. Submit all the documents with the completed form to the concerned officer.
  7. There is no fee for Career Adjustment Payment Claim.

EligibilityEdit

Carer Adjustment Payment is a one-off payment to assist families following a catastrophic event where a child under 7 years of age is diagnosed with a severe disability or severe medical condition.

Examples of catastrophic events may include (but are not limited to):

  • Diagnosis of a severe medical condition such as childhood cancer
  • Childhood stroke
  • Car accident
  • Fire
  • Fall
  • Poisoning
  • Near drowning, or
  • Another type of accident
