Procedure

Apply Online

1. To obtain a driver’s license extract, the applicant can use Ontario online service. Here is the contact Link
2. The applicant can click on the following link to order copies online: Link
3. The applicant may need to log in to their SAAQ account.
4. Enter all the relevant information such as driver's license number, last name, expiry date and postal code. Click on submit.
5. The applicant will be able to view their driver's license and can place an order for their driver’s license abstract.
6. The applicant does not need to pay a fee, find further information under the “Fees” section of this page.
7. The applicant can download and print their extract within 10 days from the submission of the application.

1. To obtain a driver’s license extract, the applicant will need to submit an application form, Here is the contact Link
2. The applicant will need to complete an application form. This will be provided by the authorities.
3. Submit the application form by it to one of the addresses mentioned on the last page of the application form.
4. The applicant does not need to pay fees to obtain an abstract.
5. The applicant will receive their driver’s license extract 10 days after the submission of the application, it will be sent by mail.
