Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To submit tax return report, applicant has to visit the General Tax Authority office.
2. For General Tax Authority office contact click here: Contact link
3. Submit the copy of tax return report and financial data to the respective officer in the General Tax Authority office. The address is mentioned in the office locations & contacts section below.
4. Now the authorities will verify your application and validate the submitted documents.
5. After verification process, tax return report will be submitted.

Apply Online

1. To submit tax return report through online, visit the following link: Online portal
   • Note: Link is temporarily not working.
2. Please login to the General Tax Authority Portal using your credentials.
3. Click on "e-Services" menu then select “Tax Return Forms” option from the “Actions” list.
4. Select Fiscal Year and click on “Continue” button then click on “Submit” button.
5. In the next page, enter the required information and you can upload the required documents mentioned in the required documents section below then click on “Submit” button.
6. Now the authorities will verify your application and validate the submitted documents.
7. After verification process, tax return report will be submitted.

Instructions

• Taxpayers are required to submit an annual income tax return by the specified deadline or, otherwise, a penalty estimated at QR100 per day, and up to a maximum of QR36,000 is imposed.
• Failure to pay tax due by the deadline results in a financial sanction estimated at 1.5% of the tax amount due per month of delay or part thereof, and up to the amount of tax due.
