APPLYING PROCESS IN QATAR

a. Applying in person
  1. Applicant shall collect the application form from respective “Director of Criminal Evidences and Information Department” Or can download using the link.
  2. Link for form: link
  3. Link for contact information: link use the details from the link to locate the address and communicate to the executives with the provided phone numbers before going.
  4. Submit the application along with the required document to the authority at the respective office. Please pay as per advise.
  5. Applicant has to follow the guidelines of the authorities.
  6. This application will be processed further to issue PCC for the applicant.
  7. As notified applicant will get the certificate.


PROCEDURE FOR OVERSEAS APPLICANT

a. Through the Qatar embassy (For Qatari and foreign national)
  1. Applicant can reach the respective Qatar embassy in their country for applying.
  2. Link for contact: link use the details to communicate with the respective authorities about the requirement.
  3. On the appointment date go to the respective embassy and meet the authorities with the required documents.
  4. Please follow as per authorities advice to apply. Payment of fees has to be made as per the authorities quote and the mode as suggested.
  5. This application will be processed to issue the PCC as per notifications.



APPLYING PROCESS IN QATAR AND OVERSEAS

a. Through mail(post)
  1. Applicant shall apply for PCC through express mail.
  2. Please complete the application or write a requisition with reason and attach all the required document as applicable along with the fees (The required fees for processing + mailing from outside the country) to the below provided address.
  3. After successful completion, certificate will be mailed to the applicants address.Ministry of the Interior

b. Through delegated
  1. Applicant can authorize a person in Doha to apply and receive the PCC on his behalf.
  2. Authorized person should submit the application form and required documents with the power of attorney certificate being certified by the court and the competent authorities in the applicant country and the “Embassy of the State of Qatar & the Ministry of foreign affairs”.
  3. The processing fee should be paid as applicable on behalf of the applicant for the certificate.
  4. The application will be processed by the department to issue the certificate.

  • Applicant shall reach to a reputed service provider or recognized agencies for this requirement


c. Through Metrash2 application – mobile App
(applicable for valid QID holder)
  1. Applicant shall use the link to download the app: link
  2. Metrash 2 Service requires that there must be a mobile number registered in the applicant’s name.
  3. You may obtain and activate Metrash 2 Service through SMS or Self Service Kiosk.
  4. Once the app is installed, use the QID and enter next to reach the successive screens to get the screen for Sending the SMS to 92992 in order to get two activation key. Enter the keys and hit next to reach next screen.
  5. Enter the password in the provided prompt and hit the respective tab to reach next screen.
  6. Here use the accept tab to start using the app.
  7. Please use the option as provided and follow through the successive screen prompts to apply for your request.
  8. “Metrash 2” enables Qatari nationals and residents to apply.
  9. Valid residence permit is required for applying through this app.

I. Documents for employment (applying From Inside Qatar)

For Qataris:
  • Offer letter from the employer addressed to the “Director of Criminal Evidences and Information Department (CEID)”.
  • Copy of the ID card.
  • 2 passport size photos (4*6 cm).
  • Educational certificates.
  • No objection certificate from previous employer (If applicable).
For Expatriates:
  • Offer letter from the employer addressed to the “Director of Criminal Evidences and Information and Department (CEID)”.
  • Sponsorship transfer application form attested by the “General Directorate of Border Passports and Expatriates Affairs (For male applicants)”.
  • Copy of the ID card and passport.
  • 2 passport size photos (4*6 cm).
  • Police Clearance Certificate from his country or embassy attested by the “Foreign Ministry of Qatar” and concerned authorities.
  • No objection certificate from previous employer if applicable (for female applicants).

II. Document for education and migration abroad (applying from inside Qatar)

For Qataris:
  • Copy of the ID card.
  • For Expatriates:
  • Copy of the passport and ID Card.
  • 2 passport size photos (4*6 cm).

III. Document for marriage, commercial activity...etc (Applying from inside Qatar)

  • Letter from the concerned authority for which the applicant works for addressed to the “Director of Criminal Evidences and Information Department (CEID)”.
For Qataris:
  • Copy of the ID card.
  • 2 passport size photos (4*6 cm).
For expatriates:-
  • Letter from the concerned authority for which the applicant works for addressed to the “Director of Criminal Evidences and Information”.
  • Copy of the passport and ID card.
  • 2 passport size photos (4*6 cm).
  • PCC from his country or embassy attested by the “Foreign Ministry of Qatar” and concerned authorities.
  • Letter from the sponsor (For male applicants).
Overseas applicant
  • A formal letter addressed to “The Director General of evidence and criminal information” describing the certificate request and purpose.
  • Clear copies of relevant pages of applicant's current passport and old passport that was used while in Qatar with personal particulars, residence permit, dates of first entry to the country and last exit from the country.
  • Full set of fingerprints (original) duly attested by a competent government authority at the country of the applicant.
  • Two recent passport-size photographs.
  • The required fees for processing + mailing to outside the country, from inside the country 10 QR .

Metrash2 App

EligibilityEdit

  • Applicant with valid passport and a valid address proof.
  • Age: 16 years and above. In case of minors, the application must be submitted by the parent exercising parental authority, if the minor has not turned 16 years.
  • The current address of the applicant must be same as in the passport and other supporting documents.
  • Applicants who are in need of residential status, employment or long term visa or for immigration to a foreign nation.
  • A person living outside Qatar can also avail PCC from Qatar provided he / she has lived in Qatar for over 6 months.


FeesEdit

  • Fee: 10 Qatari Riyals.
  • Respective embassy authorities will provide fees details.
