Procedure

Apply In-Person

1. To apply for a certificate to hold a wedding ceremony, the applicant has to visit the General Directorate of Public Security Department offices of Ministry of Interior to make the application

3. Here the applicant will be issued with an application form to fill from the respective officer.
4. Now complete the form with the necessary information and make sure you have all the documents in hand that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. After filling the form, attach the documents mentioned in the required documents section below with the completed application form.
6. Pay the appropriate fees and submit the application form, required documents, and payment receipt to the respective officer in the public security department office.
7. Now the authorities will verify your application and validate the submitted documents.
8. After the verification process, the processing of the certificate for holding a wedding ceremony will commence.
9. The applicant will be later notified to collect the wedding ceremony certificate after a period of three to five days.
