Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To apply for QU financial aid, applicant has to visit the Qatar University office.

3. Application form can be downloaded from the below link: Application form.
4. Now complete the form with necessary information and make sure you have all the documents in hand that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. After filling the form, attach the documents mentioned in the required documents section below with the completed application form.
6. Check the application form and then submit it to the respective officer in the Qatar University office. The address is mentioned in the office locations & contacts section below.
7. Now the authorities will verify your application and validate the submitted documents.
8. After the verification process, financial aid will be approved.

Apply Online

1. To apply for QU financial aid through online, visit the following link: Online portal
2. If you already have an account, please enter your username and password then click on “Sign in” button.
3. If you don’t have an account, visit the Qatar university and create your new account.
4. After successful login, select "Student Services" menu then click on "Financial Aid Application" option and click on “Apply Application” button.
5. In the next page, select the financial aid service from the dropdown menu and click on “Next” button.
6. In the next page, complete the form with necessary sponsor information and click on “Next” button.
7. In the next page, you can upload the required documents mentioned in the required documents section below then click on “Next” button.
8. In the next page, read the acknowledgement carefully and tick the ‘I agree’ checkbox and click on “Submit” button.
9. You will be redirected to the next page, it will show the message for your Financial Aid application is submitted successful.
10. Now the authorities will verify your application and validate the submitted documents.
11. After verification process, financial aid will be approved.

Required Documents

• Copy of the Qatari Identity Cards for the student, guardian, and student's jobless family members (including birth certificate of any newborn child, marriage certificates of any other wives of the guardian,
• Letter from an educational institution to prove that a brother aged 24 or above is enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student to be considered a family member and any other documentation required to explain the structure of the family).
• The total-salary certificate of the guardian does not exceed three months from the date of issuance
• In case the guardian working in the private sector, submit a bank statement of the guardian bank account for the last 3 months to prove the guardian salary mentioned in the salary certificate or a copy of the notarized work contract in the event of not being able to prove the regular receipt of the monthly salary during last three months.
• Account certificate letter with the student bank account number from the bank for first time application only.
