Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To apply for promotion license, applicant has to visit the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MOCI) office.

3. Applicant has to visit the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MOCI) and obtain the application form from the respective officer.
4. Now complete the form with necessary information and make sure you have all the documents in hand that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. After filling the form, attach the documents mentioned in the required documents section below with the completed application form.
6. Check the application form and then submit it to the respective officer in the MOCI office. The address is mentioned in the office locations & contacts section below.
7. Now the authorities will verify your application and validate the submitted documents.
8. After verification process, the applicant will be later requested to collect the promotion license on a specified date.

Apply Online

1. To apply for promotion license through online, visit the following link: online portal
2. If you already have an account, please enter your user id and password then click on “login” button.
3. If you don’t have an account, click on “new user” option.
4. Read the general instruction carefully and click on “I Agree” button.
5. In the next page, if you have valid Qatar Residency please choose “yes” from the dropdown menu. If you don’t have valid Qatar Residency please choose “No” from the dropdown menu.
6. In the next page, please select the document type from the dropdown menu. Then enter the appropriate details from the applicable field and click on “Next” button.
7. Now complete the form with necessary information and click on “Next” button.
8. You will receive an SMS with the verification code to your registered mobile number.
9. In the next page you enter the verification code and click on “Next” button.
10. In the next page you can upload the required documents then enter the required information and click on “Next” button.
11. In the next page acknowledgement statement is available, read it carefully then select the checkbox and click on “Submit” button.
12. Now you will receive an email with a case number and a verification link. Verify your email using that link. Then visit the nearest MOCI office and submit the case number to the respective officer which you have received in your email and SMS.
13. After submitting your case number, officers will verify and activate your new user.
14. After successful login, please select “E-service” menu from the list then select “Promotion/Discount Licenses” option and then click on “Issue Promotion License” option and click on “Accept” button.
15. In the next page, you can select any one offer type from the offers list then click on “Next” button.
16. In the next page, please select the establishment ID for which a promotion license to be issued then click on “Next” button.
17. In the next page, please select the branch/s for which a license to be issued then click on “Next” button.
18. In the next page, enter the offer's method, the promotion's starting and end dates to the appropriate field then click on “Next” button.
19. In the next page, you can upload the required documents mentioned in the required documents section below then click on “Next” button.
20. Once you complete this, you will be redirected to a screen in which you can review your information.
21. After reviewing your information, pay the appropriate fees to issue promotion license.
22. After successful payment, now the authorities will verify your application and validate the submitted documents.
23. After verification process, a copy of the license will be sent to the registered email id.

• Applicant who have valid commercial registration are eligible to apply.
• Applicant who have valid establishment ID card are eligible to apply.

Fees

A registration fee of QR1500/- applies.

Instructions

• Applicant shall submit a request to the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MOCI) to apply for promotion license.
• Owner, any of the partners or managers listed in the establishment's commercial register may submit the application.
