Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To apply for issuing work approvals, applicant has to visit the General Directorate of Passports at the Ministry of Interior (MOI) office.

3. Obtain the application form from the respective officer at Ministry of Interior (MOI) office.
4. Now complete the form with necessary information and make sure you have all the documents in hand that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. After filling the form, attach the documents mentioned in the required documents section below with the completed application form.
6. Check the application form and then submit it to the respective officer in the general directorate of passports in the Ministry of Interior (MOI) office. The address is mentioned in the office locations & contacts section below.
7. Now the authorities will verify your application and validate the submitted documents.
8. After verification process, work visa issuing process will be approved.

Apply Online

1. To apply for issuing work approvals through online, visit the following link: online portal. After visiting website, slightly scroll down and select the “E-services” option.
2. If you are an existing user, please login using the credentials or if you are a new user you need to click on the applicable option to create new account.
3. After successful login, select “Visa Services” menu and then select “Issue Visa” option.
4. In the next page, choose “Approval Consumption” option in case of existing approval number.
5. Now complete the form with necessary information then click on applicable button.
6. Once you complete this, you will be redirected to a screen in which you can review your information.
7. After reviewing your information, pay the appropriate through your debit or credit card.
8. After successful payment, now the authorities will verify your application and validate the submitted documents.
9. After verification process, work visa issuing will be approved

• Individuals who have Qatar ID card are eligible to apply.
• Establishment who have valid commercial licence, commercial registration and establishment ID card is eligible to apply.

Fees

• A fee of QR300/-applies.
