Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To apply for issue transit tickets to newborns, applicant has to visit the Ministry of Foreign Affairs office.

3. Applicant has to visit the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and obtain the application form from the respective officer.
4. Now complete the form with necessary information and make sure you have all the documents in hand that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. After filling the form, attach the documents mentioned in the required documents section below with the completed application form.
6. Check the application form and then submit it to the respective officer in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs office. The address is mentioned in the office locations & contacts section below.
7. Now the authorities will verify your application and validate the submitted documents.
8. After verification process, transit tickets to newborns will be issued.

• Copy of the birth certificate authenticated by the official entities and the Qatari mission, in addition to two personal photos.

Eligibility

• Applicant (Parents) who have Qatari ID card or passport are eligible to apply.

Fees

A fee of QR20 applies.

Validity

• Transit ticket is valid for three months from the date of issuance. It is also valid for only one single trip.

• Qatari mission abroad immediately addresses the National and Travel Documents Department at the Ministry of Interior. After receiving a reply, a transit ticket is issued with the approval authority included.
