Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To apply for hazardous material permit, applicant has to visit the General Directorate of Civil Defence at the ministry of interior (MOI) office.

3. Obtain the application form from the respective officer at MOI office.
4. Now complete the form with necessary information and make sure you have all the documents in hand that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. After filling the form, attach the documents mentioned in the required documents section below with the completed application form.
6. Check the application form and then submit it to the respective officer in the General Directorate of Civil Defence in the MOI office. The address mentioned in the office locations & contacts section below.
7. Now the authorities will verify your application and validate the submitted documents.
8. After the verification process, authorities will inspect the facilities that are related to the hazardous material and if they are satisfied with the standards followed the authorities will provide the franchise permission.
9. After the inspection, the applicant will be later requested to collect hazardous material permit on a specified date.

Apply Online

1. To apply for hazardous material permit through online, visit the following link: online portal. After visiting website, please click on “MOI Services” tab and then click on “E-Services” option.
2. If you already have an account, login using your credentials. If you do not have an account with the MOI e-portal, you have to register for the services using your smart card.
3. After successful login, please click on “Civil Defence Services” option and then click on “Warehouse Hazardous Material -New/Renew” option.
4. In the ‘Applicant data’ page, you can enter the applicant details and then click on “Next” button.
5. In the next ‘Warehouse Data’ page, you can enter warehouse information and then click on “Next” button.
6. In the next ‘Address’ page, you can enter national address information and then click on “Next” button.
7. In the next ‘Hazardous Material Type’ page, you can select the types of hazardous materials and add their names then click on “Next” button.
8. In the next “Owner Contact Info” page, you can enter the owner information and then click on “Next” button.
9. In the “Attachments” page, you can upload the required documents mentioned in the required documents section below then click on “Next” button.
10. Once you complete this, you will be redirected to a screen in which you can review your information.
11. After reviewing your information, then click on “Submit” button.
12. Now the authorities will verify your application and validate the submitted documents.
13. After the verification process, authorities will inspect the facilities that are related to the hazardous material and if they are satisfied with the standards followed the authorities will provide the franchise permission.
14. After the inspection, the applicant will be later requested to collect the hazardous material permit on a specified date.
