Procedure

Apply In-Person
Apply for New Family Visa

1. To apply for family visa, applicant has to visit the visa service Department at the ministry of interior(MOI) office.

3. Application form can be downloaded from the below link: Application form
4. Now application form to be filled in from typed in Arabic andmake sure you have all the documents in hand that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. After typed the form, attach the documents mentioned in the required documents section below with the completed application form.
6. Check the application form and then submit it to the respective officer in the visa service Department in Ministry of Interior(MOI) office. The address mentioned in the office locations & contacts section below.
7. Now collect the acknowledgment slip which will carry visa application number.
8. Now the authorities will verify your application and validate the submitted documents.
9. After the verification process, your visa is approved. If the visa is approved you will get a message on your registered mobile id.
10. After the visa is approved you can pay the fees through ‘METRASH’ mobile app or you can visit any immigration office near you and paythe fees with your card.
11. Thereafter, you can visit the medical commission at Mesaimeer. Pay the fees for medical procedure through your debit or credit card.
12. After paying the fees, you have to undergo medical test. If the rest results match with the eligibility criteria then you have to visit the mesaimeer immigration office to register your fingerprint.
13. After two days your fingerprint gets uploaded and you will be notified.
14. Now you can visit the immigration office and collect your Qatar ID card.
    
    

Renewal of Family Visa

1. To renew family visa, applicant has to visit the visa service Department at the ministry of interior (MOI) office.

4. Now complete the form with necessary informationand make sure you have all the documents in hand that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. After filling the form, attach the documents mentioned in the required documents section below with the completed application form.
6. Check the application form and then submit it to the respective officer in the visa service Department in Ministry of Interior(MOI) office. The address mentioned in the office locations & contacts section below.
7. Now the authorities will verify your application and validate the submitted documents.
8. After the verification process, visa validity can be renewed.

• A certificate copy of good conduct (police clearance) which is certificate by the relevant authorities for adults.
• Copy of employment contract.
• Spouse or children passport copy.
• Children birth certificate attested by MOFA and also Qatar embassy in your country.
• Marriage certificate attested by MOFA and also Qatar embassy in your country.
• Copy of your last six month bank statement.
• Copy of educational certificate.

Eligibility

• Applicant have work residence permit.
• Applicant must be under the professional visa category.
• Applicant salary must above QR7000 only can apply for family visa.

Fees

New family visa approach authorities for the fees details. Medical test QR100. Renewal the visa QR200.

Validity

Family visa shall granted for the period of one to five years.

• In the “Metrash2” mobile Application, one who has Qatar ID can easily login and enter into the application to make use of the services provided.
• Application form should be typed in Arabic language only.
• Original documents are required at the time of registration.
• Name and data should be typed as written in the passport.
• Marriage certificate, birth certificate must be attested by MOFA and also by the Qatar embassy of your country.

• Applicant salary is in the range of RQ7000 to QR9000 must provide proof that your company provides you with accommodation allowance or accommodation.
• Applicant salary is QR1000 or more, accommodation proof is not needed. But you can submit your tenancy contract that should be attested by Qatar municipality (Baladiya).
• If any violating the mentioned terms in application form, the ministry of interior rights to take legal action.
