Apply In-Person

  1. To apply for Exported Vehicle Certificate, visit the Ministry of Interior (MOI) service centre in your location to obtain the application form from the customer service desk
  2. Go to the traffic section to apply for the export certificate then fill and sign the application form in front of the concerned assisting officer
  3. Attach the required documents mention in the “required documents” section below to the application form and submit it the assisting officer for verification
  4. The official will assess your application and direct you to pay the application fee
  5. One you have paid, the officer will verify that there are no pending loans on the vehicle then take off the number plate of the vehicle and affix an export number plate to the vehicle
  6. At the end of the process, the official will prepare the export certificate and issue it to you.


Apply Online

  1. Visit the Ministry of Interior (MOI) website: Link and select “E-services” to login with your smartcard to the e-services portal of MOI.
  2. Once logged in click on “Traffic Services” option then click on "Traffic Certificates" option.
  3. Select “Exported Vehicle Certificate” option in the Certificate Specification and Click on "Next" button.
  4. Enter the vehicle plate number, type and the country (one of the GCC member states) which the vehicle will be exported to.
  5. Then click on "Next" button and enter your email address in the text box available in front of the statement "I'd like to receive a copy of the certificate at this email".
  6. Pay the appropriate fees using the online platform and submit the application
  7. You will then receive a notification in your email acknowledging the submission of the application
  8. Once the certificate is prepared, a scanned copy of the certificate will be sent to your email address which you can print and use the hard copy
