Qatar - Apply for Changing Authorized Signatories

To apply for changing authorized signatories, applicant has to visit the commercial registration and licensing department at the MOCI office.

Applicant has to visit the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MOCI)and obtain the application form from the respective officer.
Nowcomplete the form with necessary information andmake sure you have all the documents in hand that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
After filling the form, attach the documents mentioned in the required documents section below with the completed application form.
Check the application form and then submit it to the public service officer in the commercial registration and licenses department in the MOCI office. The address is mentioned in the office locations & contacts section below.
Now the authorities will verify your application and validate the submitted documents.
After verification process,authorized signatories will be changed.

Apply Online

Toapply for changing authorized signatories through online, visit the following link: online portal
If you already have an account, please enter your user id and password then click on “login” button.
If you don’t have an account, click on “new user” option.
Read the general instruction carefully and click on “I Agree” button.
In the next page, if you have valid Qatar Residency please choose “yes” from the dropdown menu. If you don’t have valid Qatar Residency please choose “No” from the dropdown menu.
In the next page, please select the document type from the dropdown menu. Then enter the appropriate details from the applicable field and click on “Next” button.
Now complete the form with necessary information and click on “Next” button.
You will receive an SMS with the verification code to your registered mobile number.
In the next page you enter the verification code and click on “Next” button.
In the next page you can upload the required documents then enter the required information and click on “Next” button.
In the next page acknowledgement statement is available, read it carefully then select the checkbox and click on “Submit” button.
Now you will receive an email with a case number and a verification link. Verify your email using that link. Then visit the nearest MOCI office and submit the case number to the respective officer which you have received in your email and SMS.
After submitting your case number, officers will verify and activate your new user.
After successful login, please select “Amendment of Commercial License” service from the list and then click on “Adding a Commercial Activity” option.
Now complete the form with necessary information then you can upload the required documents mentioned in the required documents section below and click on applicable button.
Once you complete this, you will be redirected to a screen in which you can review your information.
After reviewing your information, pay the appropriate fees for changing authorized signatories.
After successful payment, now the authorities will verify your application and validate the submitted documents.
After verification process, authorized signatories will be changed.

Copy of applicant QatarID card.
Collective approval signed by partners.
For joint stock companies: Letter from the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Vice-Chairman or Managing Director and approval of the Companies Control Department on the required procedure.
Copy of personal identification document of partners.
Copy of new authorized signatory.
Copy of passport for Non-Qataris.
Good conduct certificate, in case of real estate brokerage activity.
Central Bank approval (For banks, insurance companies and other financial institutions).
Copy of commercial registration.

EligibilityEdit

Applicant who have collective approval signed by partners are eligible to apply.
Applicant who have personal identification document of partners are eligible to apply.
Applicant who have valid commercial registration are eligible to apply.
Residents who have Qatar ID card and non-residents who have passport are eligible to apply.

A fees of QR500/- applies.
