  1. Individuals in Qatar may submit an application for Guarding Works Contract to the Public Security Department at the Ministry of Interior (MOI) to obtain approval for a Guarding Works Contract.
  2. The first step to do this is to approach the Public Security Department offices at the Ministry of Interior (MOI) where you will be issued with a Guarding Works Contract Form to fill and submit. The application form can be also obtained from the MOI Website or can be accessed using the following link: Guarding Works Contract Form and filled beforehand.
  3. Fill in all the required information correctly, print the completed application form, and then attach the required documents. These include :
    • Copy of applicant Qatar ID card.
    • Copy of applicant Passport for residents
    • Copy of resident permit
    • Copy of work permit
    • Letter form sponsor for visitors.
    • Filled in the application form
    • Passport photo
  4. Submit the completed application form and required documents to the Public Security Department Officers for processing.
  5. The officials from the Public Security Department will carry out investigations on your application to verify that everything is in order.
  6. If everything is in order, your application for guarding works contract will be approved.
  7. The processing time is usually between three to five days. However, the processing time may vary depending on the accuracy of the information you gave in your application form.
  8. Once the application is processed the applicant will be notified to collect their approval for Guarding works contract.
