Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To apply for annexing adjacent land, applicant has to visit the technical affairs department in the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) office.

3. Application form can be downloaded from the below link: Application form
4. Now complete the form with necessary information and make sure you have all the documents in hand that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. After filling the form, attach the documents mentioned in the required documents section below with the completed application form.
6. Check the application form and then submit it to the customer services counter in the technical affairs department in the MME office. The address is mentioned in the office locations & contacts section below.
7. Now the authorities will verify your application and validate the submitted documents.
8. After verification process, your request will be approved.

Required Documents

• Copy of lease contract and location plan along with original copy for matching.
• Copy of Qatari ID of tenant.
• Copy of (commercial registration, commercial license, company ID) if tenant had commercial name, and copy of authorized signatory’s Qatari ID.
• Industrial license copy (in case of industrial use).
• Copy of annual payment receipt until the end of due financial year.
• Copy of PD and Policy Plan.
• Official original copy or certified copy of power of attorney if appointed.
• Demarcation Request, in case of having no PD.
• Obligation to Abide by Setbacks.

• Required documents upon committee’s approval:
  • Approval of relevant departments in case of committee’s request.
• Required documents upon contract’s issuance:
  • Application file and copy of Industrial Areas Supervising Committee report.
  • For the issuance of a new contract, the original contract and the location plan must be delivered for cancelation.
• Required documents upon contract’s approval:
  • Authorization letter allowing receipt of new contract copies after their issuance and approval

• Individuals who have Qatar ID card are eligible to apply.
• Companies that have commercial registration and establishment ID card are eligible to apply.

Fees

• No fees are required for this service; there is only annual rent that is collected in advance at the beginning of each financial year.

• Applicant shall submit a request to the technical affairs department at Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) to annex an adjacent piece of land to an existing plot, in each of Doha Municipality, Al-Khor and Al-Dakhira Municipality and Al-Shamal Municipality.
