ProcedureEdit

  • Qatari citizens and Companies can register online for a No Objection Certificate (NOC) to allow a sponsored person to complete a driving license application procedures in the Traffic Department.
  • This administration is accessible for Qataris and Companies bearing smart ID cards.


Apply Online

  1. The first step is to log in with your smartcard to the e-services portal of the Ministry of Interior (MOI) by clicking on the MOI Services tab and selection the E-services option.
  2. If you do not have an account with the MOI e-portal, you have to register for the services using your smart card.
  3. Once logged in, Select the required transaction type (Personal for the smart card owner or Company Name for the authorized person).
  4. In the next page click on "Traffic Services” option on the dashboard then click on the " Driving License NOC” link.
  5. Enter the NOC request details in the "Request Details" page.
  6. Enter the sponsored person QID or visa number in the specified box.
  7. Select the required driving license category (motorbike, car, bus).
  8. Select the required driving license approval (Issue New license or Replace Lost License).
  9. Review the keyed in information to ensure that everything is okay.
  10. Click on "Confirm" button after reviewing request details.
  11. The NOC will be processed by the Traffic department of the MOI and can be printed on your MOI e-portal.


Note:

  • To issue another NOC, click on "New Entry" and repeat the mentioned steps..
  • You can also apply for the NOC through the Metrash2 Mobile App.
