Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To apply electricity and water supply for bulk customers, applicant has to visit the Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (KAHRAMAA) office.

3. For industries application form can be downloaded from the below link: application form
4. For non-industries application form can be downloaded from the below link: application form
5. Now complete the form with necessary information and make sure you have all the documents in hand that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
6. After filling the form, attach the documents mentioned in the required documents section below with the completed application form.
7. Check the application form and then submit it to the respective officer in the KAHRAMAA office. The address is mentioned in the office locations & contacts section below.
8. Now the authorities will verify your application and validate the submitted documents.
9. After verification process, electricity and water supply will be provided.

• Copy of establishment ID card (For commercial or industrial building).
• Project location map (hard & electronic digital AutoCAD file copies) and master schedule.
• Annual maintenance schedule.
• Proposed Location Map of the Ground Reservoir (hard & electronic digital AutoCAD file copies) and building permit approval.

• KAHRAMAA allows business owners dealing with projects that demand an intensive amount of electricity and water to bulk purchase their supplies ahead of time.
• As per Ministry of Energy and Industry regulations, costumers are not allowed to generate and meet their own electricity and water demand without prior permission from KAHRAMAA.

Need for the Document

• To run industries or any firm which requires large amount of electricity and water supply, this license is mandatory.

• The Ministry has the authority to abandon the candidate or take any official action against forgery or manipulation of data by the applicant.
• KAHRAMAA definition of bulk customer: any customer with actual or forecasted maximum demand that equals or exceeds 5 MW of power and/or 25M3/hour (0.132MIGD) of water.
