Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To apply business license of small printing house, applicant has to visit the Ministry of Culture and Sports (MCS) office.

3. Obtain the application form from the respective officer at Ministry of Culture and Sports (MCS) office.
4. Now complete the form with necessary information and make sure you have all the documents in hand that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. After filling the form, attach the documents mentioned in the required documents section below with the completed application form.
6. Check the application form and then submit it to the respective officer in the Ministry of Culture and Sports (MCS) office. The address is mentioned in the office locations & contacts section below.
7. Now the authorities will verify your application and validate the submitted documents.
8. After verification process, the applicant will be later requested to collect the business license of small printing house on a specified date.

1. To apply business license of small printing house through online, visit the following link: online portal
2. After visiting website, click on “Login” option which is available on right side top corner.
3. If you have a Smartcard, please click on “Login with Smartcard” button to login using your smartcard.
4. If you already have an Tawtheeq account, please enter your user name and password then click on “Continue” button.
5. If you don’t have an Tawtheeq account, click on “create new account” option.
6. In the next page, if you have valid Qatar ID card please choose “Qatari citizens and residents” option. If you don’t have valid Qatar ID card please choose “Visitors and business representatives” option.
7. Now complete the field with required information then select the ‘I’m not a robot’ checkbox and click on the “Continue” button.
8. In the next page, please enter the required personal information and then click on “Continue” button.
9. In the next page, please enter the new password and click on “Continue” button.
10. You will be redirected to a screen in which contain message to finish registration of your account and tap on the “login” option to login which is available on the right side of the page.
11. Now you will receive an email with a verification link. Verify your email using that link. After verify your email successfully, now the username and password will be activated for new users.
12. After successful login, Select “Request for a license to operate a small printing press” option under “Publications and art works services” Section. Choose “Individual Foundation” or “Companies” or “Government agencies” option which is preferable to you and click on “NEW” button.
13. Choose the facility type and activity as “Small Printing Press” from the dropdown menu. Now complete the form with necessary information and you can upload the required documents mentioned in the required documents section below then click on “SUBMIT THE REQUEST” button to submit the application.
14. Now the authorities will verify your application and validate the submitted documents.
15. After verification process, the applicant will be later requested to collect the business license of small printing house on a specified date.

• Trade name reservation certificate or copy of commercial registration.
• Copy of the lease contract of the activity’s location.

• Applicant who have trade name reservation certificate or commercial registration are eligible to apply.
• Applicant who have valid Qatar ID card are eligible to apply.

• For Issuing and Reissuing the License: QR10,000.
