Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To amend or change name of international engineering consulting offices, applicant has to visit the Engineers and Engineering Offices Accrediting and Classifying Committee at the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) office.

3. Application form can be downloaded from the below link: application form
4. Now complete the form with necessary information and make sure you have all the documents in hand that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. After filling the form, attach the documents mentioned in the required documents section below with the completed application form.
6. Check the application form and then submit it to the respective officer in the engineers and engineering offices accrediting and classifying committee in the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) office. The address is mentioned in the office locations & contacts section below.
7. Now the authorities will verify your application and validate the submitted documents.
8. After verification process, international engineering consulting office name will be changed.

• Letter of no objection to changing the name from the Ministry of Economy and Commerce in Qatar.
• Document proving decision made by partners at main office to request amending office name (if any).
• Two ads in an official newspaper expressing desire to change office name and declaring all responsibilities and claims for the new name, separated by three working days between each of the two ads.
• Original and copy of commercial registration.
• Original and copy of Qatar ID card.
• Original and copy of commercial license.
• Original and copy of establishment ID card.
• Obligation to transfer sponsorship of engineers working in the office under the new name.

• Applicant who has commercial registration and establishment ID card are eligible to apply.
