Apply In-Person:

  1. To request additional meter for consultants and contractors, applicant has to visit the Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (KAHRAMAA) office.

  3. Applicant has to visit the Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (KAHRAMAA) and obtain the application form from the respective officer.
  4. Now complete the form with necessary information and make sure you have all the documents in hand that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  5. After filling the form, attach the documents mentioned in the required documents section below with the completed application form.
  6. Check the application form and then submit it to the respective officer in the KAHRAMAA office. The address is mentioned in the office locations & contacts section below.
  7. Now the authorities will verify your application and validate the submitted documents.
  8. After verification process, additional meter will be provided.



Apply Online

  1. To request additional meter for consultants and contractors through online, visit the following link: online portal
  2. If you already have an account, please enter your email id and password then click on “Log In” button.
  3. If you don’t have an account, click on “Don’t have an account” option.
  4. Now complete the form with necessary information and click on “Register” button.
  5. After successful registration, click appropriate option to go back to the login page or click the following link to reach the login page: online portal
  6. After successful login, please select “Electricity” or “Water” from basic service options. Then select “Additional Meter” option from service type. Then enter the meter number and owner QID/CR number and click on “Next” button.
  7. Now complete the form with necessary information then you can upload the required documents mentioned in the required documents section below and click on applicable button to submit your request.
  8. Now authorities will verify your application and validate the submitted documents.
  9. After verification process, additional meter will be provided.
