Through suwidha centre / Gram Suwidha Kendra (GSK)
- To apply for non availability of birth certificate, applicant has to approach the nearest suwidha centre / Gram Suwidha Kendra of their area.

- Obtain the relevant application form from the suwidha centre or Download the application form from the given link: Application form. Refer form number 10.
- Now fill the form with appropriate details.
- Make sure that you have all the proper documents mentioned in the “Required documents” section below.
- Submit the form along with the supporting documents to the respective authority.
- Then the suwidha centre / Gram Suwidha Kendra operator logs into e-district portal and fill the e-form and upload the documents.
- The Suwidha operator/Authorised GSK shall collect the specified amount of fees and enter its details in the e-District Application & accordingly will submit the request into the e-District Application
- The Suwidha operator/Authorised GSK shall then print the Acknowledgement Receipt, carrying unique acknowledgement number, generated automatically by the e-District Application, signs it and hand it over to the Applicant.
- The Suwidha operator/Authorised GSK shall then prepare application case file, containing the supporting documents submitted (Attested copy) by applicant & should dispatch or deliver, every day to the concerned office as indicated by the e-District application.
- An authorized official at the CMO/EOMC/SMO/Block PHC office will receive the Application case files on behalf of the CMO/ EOMC/SMO/Block PHC
- To receive the Birth Non Availability certificate the applicant should visit any of the GSK/ Suwidha center and provide the Acknowledgement receipt carrying the acknowledgement number.
- The certificate printout should be duly stamped and signed by the operator.

- Hospital birth records like doctor’s certificate which have the child and parents name

- School records which have the child and parents name, like school leaving certificate etc
- Affidavit from the parents or relatives

EligibilityEdit
- Applicant should be the citizen of India or NRI.
- If the applicant’s birth is not officially recorded.
- If the birth certificate has been destroyed in any natural calamities or fire or civil calamities.
FeesEdit
Issuance of NABC is chargeable as per the norms of the state government.
ValidityEdit
Non-Availability of Birth Certificate is valid forever.

InstructionsEdit
- Applicant has to get a statement from the respective authority on the letterhead or on the prescribed application form, stating the reason of unavailability of birth certificate.
- Along with the statement include the secondary evidence mentioned in “Required documents” section.

Need for the DocumentEdit
- Birth certificate is the mandatory document at the time of school / college admissions.
- Without birth certificate, getting PAN card, Aadhaar card, Voter ID, Driving license, Passport or visa is impossible.
- NABC will fulfil the requirement of birth certificate.
- NABC certifies the registration of the unregistered birth.
