Apply In-Person:

  1. To Apply for a No Objection Certificate for Property Transfer, the applicant has to approach the respective state Municipality Council link
  2. The applicant has to write the request letter for NOC and submit it to the officer.
  3. An application form will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer.
  4. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
  5. Make sure that the applicant has attached all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  6. The applicant has to attach the photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting.
  7. Submit all the documents with the completed form to the concerned officer.
  8. The fee for this procedure is mentioned in the “Fees” section of this page.
  9. After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
  10. An acknowledgment receipt will be provided. Please save it for future reference.
  11. Then the application will be processed further. All the updates on the application status will be sent via SMS to the applicant’s mobile number.
  12. Once the process gets completed, the applicant gets a call from the office regarding the application.
  13. The officer may conduct a site inspection to verify the details provided in the application.
  14. Once the authorities are satisfied that all requirements have been met, the officer will issue the NOC for property transfer.
  15. This entire process can be completed within 15 - 30 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.

  • Affidavit from the seller(s) & purchaser(s).
  • Layout Plan if the total area of the original plot to be subdivided is more than or equal to 1 Bigha.
  • Passport size photograph (3 copies each) of both seller & purchaser.
  • Proof of identity – (Aadhar card, Driving license, etc)
  • Any other document/declaration that authority may require.

  • The applicant must be a resident of India and should be a legal owner/attorney holder.



FeesEdit

  • The processing fee of Rs. 250/-
  • The development fee for NOC for the sale/ transfer/ sub-division of land is 1% of the total value of land excluding the value of the building.
  • The NOC for apartment/flat sale/transfer of the 1% will be limited to the extent of the value of the land component only.
