Apply In-Person:
- To make an application for renewal of a Senior Citizens Identity Card, the applicant has to visit the Municipal Office of the Senior Citizen’s Affair (OCSA) in their locality to make the application. The contact information for OCSA offices can be found on the “Office Locations & Contacts” of this page.
- At the OCSA offices, the applicant should approach the Customer Service Counter and enquire about the Senior Citizen Identity Card renewal.
- Here the applicant will be given an application form link by the officers present to fill and submit.
- The applicant should then complete the application form with appropriate information under relevant sections.
- Attest the application form once completed and submit the form with the required documents to the OCSA officer present. A list of the required documents can be found in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- Upon submission the OCSA Officer will check the documents for completeness and authenticity. If everything is in order the applicant will be asked to pay for the processing fees.
- The applicant should then proceed to make payments at the cashier’s counter and will be issued an Official Receipt when done. The application fees to be paid are mentioned in the “Fees” section of this page.
- Upon making payment the applicant should proceed to the OCSA Officer’s Counter and present the Official Receipt.
- The OCSA Officer will review, validate and input the Senior Citizen’s information into their database.
- The OCSA Officer will then generate the Senior Citizen’s ID and present it to the applicant.
- The applicant should then sign the Record Book at the OCSA Office to confirm that they have received the Senior Citizen’s ID.
- The whole process takes a period of one and a half hours.

- To be able to get a senior citizen ID from your local OSCA, you must meet the following criteria:
- At least 60 years old
- A Filipino citizen
- Residing in your city or municipality for at least six months
- Have a lost senior citizen ID card
