- To Apply to Extend Long-Stay Visitor Visa, the applicant has to approach the Bureau of Immigration offices link
- An application form will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer. Or the applicant can download the application form from the following link
- The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
- Make sure that the applicant has attached all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- The applicant has to attach the photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting.
- Submit all the documents with the completed form to the concerned officer.
- The fee for this procedure has to be paid as per the authority request.
- After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
- An acknowledgment receipt will be provided. Please save it for future reference.
- All applications are processed within a reasonable time, having regard to the particular circumstances of each application, including the completeness of information and documents submitted to the authority by the applicant.
- The authority may seek additional information from an applicant if this is necessary to assess the application. The authority does not need to deal further with an application until the applicant has provided this additional information.
- Once the process gets completed, the applicant gets a visa extension.
- This entire process can be completed within 10-15 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.

After completing the following documentary pre-requisites, you may continue to file for your visa extension request as follows:
- Acquire the Consolidated General Application form (CGAF) from either the Public Information and Assistance Unit (PIAU) or the official BI Website.
- Submit the filled-out application form and attachments, as well as your valid passport, to the frontline officer.
- Once proven that the applicant has no derogatory records, they will be issued a BI Clearance Certificate. Otherwise, they must proceed to the Verification and Certification Unit for Clearance.
- Get the Order of Payment Slip
- Pay the fees and get the Official Receipt (OR).
- Submit the OR together with the application form, attachments, and passport to the receiving officer.
- Claim the passport stamped with the requested extension of stay.

- Any person who intends to Apply to Extend Long-Stay Visitor Visa is eligible to make this application.
FeesEdit
- Fees depend on where the foreign national came from. For visa-required nationals, they will have to pay a total of P 13,900, while non-visa required citizens, it will cost P 11,500.
ValidityEdit
- Long-Stay Visitor Visa extension (LSVVE) allows a foreign visitor to obtain permission to stay in the country for six months. Additional LSVVE visas can be obtained upon expiry in order for the tourist to stay in the Philippines for up to 16 months. Additionally, with the approval of the Commissioner, a stay of 16, 24, or 36 months is possible, depending on the visitor’s nationality.

- The Consolidated General Application Form (CGAF) must be accomplished in Iwo (2) ORIGIMAL copies. The first copy shall be submitted together with all the documents
- All documents required for submission must be complied with. arranged in the order as listed in the Checklist of Documentary Requirements
- All sworn statements or affidavits must be original and duly notarized.
- If the application is filed by an authorized representative. attach a photocopy of the Bureau of Immigration (BI) Accreditation on Identification
- The applicant and/or petitioner must always bring his her original passport and/or valid ID (if Filipino) upon evaluation or interview by Elisa Officers.
