- To Apply for Renewal of Accreditation (Tourism Enterprise), the applicant has to approach the Department of Tourism link
- An application form will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer.
- The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
- Make sure that the applicant has attached all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- The applicant has to attach the photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting.
- Submit all the documents with the completed form to the concerned officer.
- The applicant has to pay the prescribed fee as requested by the authority.
- After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
- The Officer will schedule and inspect within 10 working days after receipt of complete and correct documentary requirements.
- The Accreditation Unit will schedule an inspection of your establishment. The inspection will be conducted by an inspector who will check if the applicant's establishment meets the minimum standards set by the DOT.
- If physical inspection is not possible or impractical, the inspector may conduct a Virtual Inspection of the premises through video conferencing and photo documentation.
- After inspection, the DOT Team will discuss its initial findings with the establishment’s authorized representative.
- If the enterprise is found to be compliant with the requirements, you will receive an accreditation certificate from the DOT.
- This entire process can be completed within 15 - 30 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.

- Business registration documents such as a Business Registration Certificate or Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Certificate of Incorporation.
- Valid Mayor’s Permit or Business Permit.
- Proof of compliance with industry standards and regulations. This may include certifications from relevant agencies, permits from local government units, and environmental compliance certificates.
- Proof of financial stability such as audited financial statements, bank statements, or income tax returns.
- Safety and security measures such as fire safety certificates, security plans, and insurance policies.
- Marketing and promotional materials such as brochures and flyers.
- For accommodation establishments, a floor plan indicating the number of rooms and amenities, as well as photos of the rooms and facilities.
- For tour operators, travel agencies, and tourist transport operators, a list of tour packages and itineraries, as well as a list of vehicles and equipment.
