Procedure

Apply In Person:

1. To Apply For Driving Instructor License or Permit (Accreditation), the applicant has to approach the LTO Central Office link
2. The applicant has to carry all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
3. An application form will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer.
4. And the applicant has to get the queue number from the service counter.
5. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
6. Once they called, the applicant has to submit all the documents with the completed form to the concerned officer.
7. The applicant has to pay the prescribed amount of fee as per the authority’s request.
8. Pay the fee at the cash counter and get the receipt for further reference.
9. The applicant has to complete the practice test and vision test.
10. The applicant has to submit a copy of the Official Receipt to the Secretariat.
11. Once all the test and verification process gets completed successfully, the applicant will get the license from the office.
12. This entire process can be completed within 30 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.

• Valid TESDA National TVET Trainer’s Certificate (NTTC) or Trainer’s Training Certificate

Eligibility

The Applicant-Driving Instructor/Lecturer must possess the following qualifications

• At least 23 years of age
• Must be a holder of a professional driver’s license for the vehicle category to be lectured for at least five (5) years
• Must be a holder of a relevant four-year degree course or automotive vocational training course
• Must not have any traffic violations for the past twelve (12) months before application as an instructor
• Must not have a history of suspension or revocation of driver’s license for any cause
• Took and passed a neuropsychiatric test from a government-accredited entity

Fees

• The applicant has to pay the prescribed amount of fee as per the authority’s request.

Validity

Explain the time until which the certificate/document is valid.
