Procedure

• Go to the Drivers license center or its website, to get hold of the Pennsylvania drivers manual.
• Go see a physician and obtain a medical qualification certificate.
  • DL-180
• Completely filled up the required forms
  • DL-180 for 18 years old
  • DL-180TD for below 18 y/o. This form must be filled up by your spouse , parents or anyone at least18 y/o.
• Pass the tests
  • Eye screening and Knowledge test
  • Road test
• Submit the required documents
• Proof of vehicle registration
• Proof of vehicle insurance
• Pay the fees.

Eligibility

• Resident of Pennsylvania
• US Citizen
• At least 18 years old or not 18 y/o but with the company of someone who is at least 18 y/o.

Fees

$34.50 - Initial permit and four year license
$24.00 - Initial permit and two year license (65 y/o and plus )

Validity
