Procedure

1. To renew a trademark registration, applicants must submit an application in person to the Ministry of Industry and Commerce.
2. Applicants will need to complete and submit an application to renew registration.
3. It may take the Ministry about a month to process the application.

Instructions

Request for renewal of the trademark registration, may be made by its owner or through an industrial property agent (lawyer inscribed as such). The same can be done once the right has expired on the mark, in the year of expiration, or later up to six months of its expiration.
