Note: Registered trustees, guardians and legal representatives who cannot use the online tax slip services can make use of the in-person services.
- To view or update Tax Information slips for the Canada Pension Plan, Old Age Security and Employment Insurance in person, the applicant has to visit any nearest Service Canada Office.

- Visit the office and approach the respective official who is responsible for Tax Information Slips of Canada Pension Plan, Old Age Security and Employment Insurance.
- The official in-charge may require verifying the applicant’s identity and checking whether he/she have received an EI payment.
- The applicant will have to seek for the information to be viewed and provide the relevant information that needs to be updated.
- Refer the “Required Documents” section of this page to know about the required information.
- Once the applicant has provided the relevant information, the official in-charge will proceed to update the information of the applicant.
- The official will make the respective changes and after necessary verification processes, the information will be updated in the database.
- In case if the applicant just needs to view the tax information slips, the officials will provide the slips for viewing.
- The applicant can also print the copies of the tax information slips by requesting the relevant official.
Apply through mail

- To view or update Tax Information slips for the Canada Pension Plan, Old Age Security and Employment Insurance through mail, the applicant has to send an application to the address of the Service Canada office.

- The applicant has to send a request to Service Canada office in order to view or update Tax Information slips for the Canada Pension Plan, Old Age Security and Employment Insurance.
- The request should contain information about the applicant, verification that he/she is receiving the EI benefits and the details to be updated.
- Refer the “Required Documents” section of this page to know about the required information.
- If the request is to view printed copies of tax information slips, the applicant will be sent printed copies in return.
- If the request is to update any information, relevant changes will be done after necessary processes.
Apply through telephone
- To view or update Tax Information slips for the Canada Pension Plan, Old Age Security and Employment Insurance through telephone, the applicant has to contact the Service Canada Office through telephone.

- The applicant has to call the relevant number and inform he/she needs to view or update Tax Information slips for the Canada Pension Plan, Old Age Security and Employment Insurance.

- Provide the information demanded by the official in charge and he/she will complete the request as applicable.
Apply online
- Using GC Key
- To view or update Tax Information slips for the Canada Pension Plan, Old Age Security and Employment Insurance online using GC Key, the applicant has to visit the following apply online
- Visit the link and scroll down to the bottom, then click “Start now” button.
- In the page that opens, enter the user details in the respective fields and then click “Sign In” button, if applicable.
- Or, click the “Sign Up” button to create an account. Click “I accept” button and type an appropriate username in the next tab.
- Click “Continue” button and create a password for the new account in the next tab, then click “Continue” button.
- Create Recovery Questions, Answers and Hints in the next page and click “Continue” button. Click “I agree” button in the next page.
- In the next page, there will be two options to help verifying user’s identity. Select an applicable option.
- Once signed in with GC Key and have verified the identity, the applicant should create their MSCA profile.
- Follow the onscreen instructions and complete the profile creation. Proceed to sign in using the Username and Password.
- After profile creation, select the “Tax slips” option to access the tax information slips service.
- If the applicant just needs to view tax information slips, he/she should click on the applicable button to view the slips.
- If the applicant needs to print the tax information slips, he/she should click on the print button and print the required slips.
- If he/she is in need to update any information, the applicant has to click on the applicable button and follow the onscreen instructions to complete the process.
- Using Bank account
- To view or update Tax Information slips for the Canada Pension Plan, Old Age Security and Employment Insurance online using bank account, the applicant has to visit the following apply online
- Visit the link and click “Start now” button which will be at the bottom of the page.
- List of financial Sign-In Partners will be displayed in the next page, from which the applicant has to select one in which he/she has subscribed online banking.
- Respective online banking portal will be opened, login into it using the user credentials.
- After logging in, there will be two options to help verifying the applicant’s identity. Select an applicable option.
- Once verified the identity, the applicant should create their MSCA profile.
- Follow the onscreen instructions and complete the profile creation. Proceed to sign in using the Username and Password.
- After profile creation, select the “Tax slips” option to access the tax information slips service.
- If the applicant just needs to view tax information slips, he/she should click on the applicable button to view the slips.
- If the applicant needs to print the tax information slips, he/she should click on the print button and print the required slips.
- If he/she is in need to update any information, the applicant has to click on the applicable button and follow the onscreen instructions to complete the process.
- Using Provincial ID
- To view or update Tax Information slips for the Canada Pension Plan, Old Age Security and Employment Insurance online using Provincial ID, the applicant has to visit the following apply online
- In the page opens, will be present two options for two provinces. Select an applicable option and click “I agree” button in the next page.
- Respective online application portal will be opened. The applicant has to complete the application process by following the onscreen instructions.
- After logging in, there will be two options to help verifying the applicant’s identity. Select an applicable option.
- Once verified the identity, the applicant should create their MSCA profile.
- Follow the onscreen instructions and complete the profile creation. Proceed to sign in using the Username and Password.
- After profile creation, select the “Tax slips” option to access the tax information slips service.
- If the applicant just needs to view tax information slips, he/she should click on the applicable button to view the slips.
- If the applicant needs to print the tax information slips, he/she should click on the print button and print the required slips.

- Any person in Ontario, who has been receiving Canada Retirement Pension, can apply.
- Any Employment Insurance claimant or a person receiving Old Age Security can also apply.
- The applicant must have received payment through any of the above mentioned programs, at least once after subscription.

InstructionsEdit
- Even if you are using online services through My Service Canada Account, you can reactivate the mail option anytime by selecting Tax slip mailing options.
- If you change your tax slip preference after the first week of January, the change will take effect the following year. Even if you receive mailed copies, you can still access your tax slips online.
- If you decide to receive your tax slips online, they will be available in MSCA on February 1. You will not be notified when they are available and will not receive your tax slip by mail.
- Accessing your tax information slips online is secure. Your information is protected with the same level of security used by banks for their online services.

Need for the DocumentEdit
- Tax information slips enhances the Employment Insurance claimants, Canada Retirement Pension and Old Age Security receivers to access their tax information on the benefits they are receiving for the current year and the past six years.
- Tax information slips will be required when the applicant submits his/her income tax return to the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA).

- Amended CPP tax slips will be available online 7 to 10 days after the amendment is processed.
- Amended EI tax slips will be available online 4 to 6 weeks after the amendment is processed.
- Amended OAS tax slips are not accessible in MSCA and will be mailed to you.
