Oman - Obtain Tour Guide License

Procedure

1. To obtain a tour guide license, applicants will need to lodge an application with the Ministry of Tourism.
2. Applicants will need to complete the tourism license application form.
3. The completed form must be submitted together with these following documents:
   1. a copy of the ID card or passport
   2. two photos
   3. a copy of educational qualifications and work experience
   4. a copy of the labor card for non-Omanis
   5. criminal status certificate
   6. medical certificate
4. The applicant will have an interview with the Tour Guide Committee of the Ministry of Tourism.
5. The tour guides license will be issued after paying the license fee.

• Omani regional tour guide (OMR 10)
• Non-Omani general tour guide (OMR 100)
• Non-Omani regional tour guide (OMR 50)
• Temporary tour guide (OMR 5)
