Electrical Supervisor License in Odisha is having three categories such as MV supervisor license, HT supervisor license and EHT supervisor license.
Apply In-Person:

  1. To apply for the Electrical Supervisor Certificate, the applicant needs to collect and submit the application to the Office of The Engineer-In-Chief (Electricity).
  2. Procure the application form for issue of electrical supervisor certificate.
  3. Fill the application and submit the application along with the required fees and payment, and scanned copies of the documents.
  4. Refer the “Required documents” section of this procedure to know what all scanned documents need to be submitted.
  5. Once the application is submitted, a scrutiny of the application by Junior Assistant will be carried out.
  6. Then, the scrutiny of application by Electrical Inspector will be carried out.
  7. If it is accepted, the scrutiny of application by the Member Secretary will be carried out.
  8. If it is accepted, an admit card for the examination will be provided to the applicant.
  9. The applicant must then appear for the examination on the specific date.
  10. Once the results are out, the certificate/permit will be issued to the qualified candidates.


Eligibility Supervisor license in MV:
The MV SCC allows you to supervise under 650V electrical installation works

  • More than 23 years
  • Passed SCC MV exam
  • For entering examination, the applicant shall have completed a Diploma in electrical with 2-year work experience or ITI electrical with 5 years’ experience or +2 with 6 years of electrical experience.
  • For exemption of examination, the applicant shall have 2 years’ experience with Electrical engineering certificate or 3 years’ experience with Diploma certificate.


Eligibility Supervisor license in HT:

  • The HT SCC allows you to monitor under 33kV electrical installation works,
  • More than 23 years
  • passed exam as per HT syllabus
  • For entering the exam, the applicant shall have knowledge and experience of at least two years for Degree holder and three years for Diploma holder about HT installations towards inspections, design, testing and commissioning, construction, operation and maintenance. And the experience certificate shall be signed by an HT SCC.
  • The applicant is exempted for the exams who are working under Government organisation or private industry which is registered as per company act 1947. They shall have experience in more than 10 years in which 5 years HT for electrical engineer & 7 years for Diploma holder who have worked in HT repair, maintenance, Testing, Inspection and commissioning works. They shall obtain their experience certificate from HT technical authority.


Eligibility Supervisor license in EHT:
The EHT SCC allows you to monitor more than 33kV electrical installation works. They shall have following eligibility to get the electrical EHT supervisor license in Odisha state.

  • 23 years old
  • Shall pass EHT exam & Degree in electrical engineering & HT SCC Knowledge with 7 years of experience in EHT installation.

Required DocumentsEdit

  • The candidate must be a domicile of India.
  • Self-declaration in own hand
  • Testimonials of practical experience as an Electrical workman from any Licensed Contractor/Registered Company
  • Scanned copy of Passport size photograph.
  • Treasury Challan.
  • For proprietorship company, the own only shall apply
  • For parent ship company, 2 third of director’s authorization letter shall be submitted
  • Citizen of India.
  • 10 passed and SSLC certificate.
  • 3 passport size photo with white background and the same attested by the front and backside of the applicant.
  • You cannot be a part of any govt. organisation.
  • Application fees for MV contractor: 5000/-, HT contractor: 10000, and for EHT contractor: 15000/- shall be paid for the state treasury and keep the soft copy of the receipt.
  • Age proof Certificate. (PAN Card, School leaving certificate, Aadhar card, Birth certificate issued by Corporation / Municipality / Panchayat)
  • Address proof (Domicile certificate / Aadhaar Card)
  • ITI Electrician pass certificate.
  • NCVT certificate.
  • All scanned copies should be below 450 kb.
  • Proof of business such as telephone bill or electricity bill the same affidavit from the Green ink holder
  • A signed copy of the appointment letter of the wireman and supervisor.
  • Contractor and supervisor affidavit that the supervisor is working in that firm only.
  • Proof of work execution
  • 50% full-time work proof.
  • Wireman and contractor with their licence and licence number affidavit.
  • Verification certificate of the supervisor and wireman working as sole employment. Here you can submit your attendance register.

EligibilityEdit

  • The applicant must be a domicile of India.
  • The applicant should possess workmen Permit Class VIII pass.
  • The applicant should possess Electrical Supervisor’s Certificate of Competency Degree in Electrical Engineering or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or must be a person with 10 (Ten) years experience in electrical works.

Original Treasury Challan of payment for MV supervisor: Rs. 500/-
Original Treasury Challan of payment for HT supervisor: Rs. 600/-
Original Treasury Challan of payment for EHT supervisor License: Rs. 1500.
In that, 500/- extra for examination fees for all supervisor licenses.

  • The permits are to be renewed once in 5 years.
