Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To apply for Potato Dealer License in person, the applicant has to first contact the Government of Nunavut.

3. The applicant can also contact the Nunavut Regional Office of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada through the following - Telephone number: 514-283-8888 or Email address: [email protected]
4. The applicant should contact the office and enquire where they can apply for a Potato Dealer license.
5. The official in-charge will provide the applicant with relevant information on how to obtain a Potato Dealer License.
6. The applicant will to visit the office (as instructed) and obtain an application form for Potato Dealer License, from the respective department.
7. While visiting the office, the applicant has to bring all the necessary documents listed in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
8. The applicant has to complete the license application form with the relevant details and information in the respective fields.
9. After completing the application form, attach all the required documents with the completed application form.
10. Then, submit the application form and attached documents to the relevant official at the office.
11. The applicant will also have to pay the required fees for processing and licensing, by following the instructions given by the official in-charge.
12. Upon submission of application and payment of required fees, the application will be forwarded for further processing.
13. During processing, the office/department may require additional information about the business from the applicant.
14. The applicant has to co-operate with the office/department throughout the processing of the application.
15. On completion of processing, the applicant will be informed through email or text message or phone call, when the license is ready.
16. The applicant can receive the license through any applicable means or as intimated by the department.

• If the applicant fails to provide information or additional information required by the Department, the Department will reject their application and refuse to issue the license.
