Apply In-Person:

  1. To apply for Residential Building Contractor License in person, the applicant has to visit the office of Nova Scotia Labour Skills and Immigration.
  2. Address and Contact details can be found in the following Contact link
  3. Visit the office and obtain an application form for Residential Building Contractor License from the relevant department.
  4. Make sure that all the documents in the “Required Documents” section of this page are available.
  5. Complete the application as per convenience, attest it with signature and attach the required documents with the application form.
  6. Then, submit the application package to the relevant authority at the office.
  7. The applicant has to pay the required fees for the license through any of the available payment modes. Fees details can be obtained from the office.
  8. Upon receipt of the application and all the required information, the Department will proceed to review and assess the submitted information.
  9. On completion of the review, the office will inform the applicant through phone number or email to collect the License.
