Apply Online:

  1. To apply for the Odyssey Language Assistant Program, the applicant can approach the Official languages Program. Here is the contac Link
  2. Click on the following link to the online application form Link
  3. If the applicant has an account, they must enter their details to log in. If the applicant does not have an account, follow these steps:
    • On the login page, click on the “Register” option.
    • The applicant will need to enter all the relevant information when prompted.
    • An email confirmation mail will be sent to the applicant, click on the link to activate the account.
    • The applicant can go back to the login page and log in to their account.
  4. The applicant will need to create an application form.
  5. Fill out the application form with all the relevant details.
  6. The applicant will need to upload scanners copies of all the documents mentioned under the ”Required Documents” section of this page.
  7. Submit the application form by clicking on the “Submit” icon.
  8. The applicant does not need to pay fees.
  9. Once submitted, the application form will be forwarded to the relevant authorities.
  10. If the applicant is selected, they will need to attend an interview.
  11. The applicant shall receive all communications and their results by email within a few weeks.

EligibilityEdit

  • The applicant must have excellent language skills, both oral and written in at least one language (English or French).
  • The applicant must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
  • The applicant must have completed at least one year of post-secondary education before the start of their work.
