Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To apply for using Address Verification Service in person, the applicant has to visit any nearest post office.
2. Use the following link to identify any nearest Post office: locator link
3. Visit the office and inform them that you want to access the Address Verification System.
4. Any relevant official at the NIPOST will assist you to register as an on-field verification or Business partner and create an account to use the Address Verification System portal.
5. He/she will also provide the user details to login into the portal. After receiving the details, click the following link to visit the – portal login
6. Enter the email address and password in the relevant fields and click “Log in” button.
7. Enter the portal and access the Address Verification System by clicking applicable options and following the on-screen instructions.
8. Here, you can upload the details you intend to verify or use the API (Application Programming Interface) to integrate into your system by following the on-screen instructions as applicable.

1. To apply for using Address Verification Service online, the applicant has to visit the following apply online
2. Visit the link and complete the contact form and then click “Send a message” button to send a message to Nigerian Postal Service (NIPOST).
3. On receipt of the message, relevant official at the NIPOST will respond to you through your email address or contact number.
4. He/she will assist you to register as an on-field verification or Business partner and create an account to use the Address Verification System portal.
5. He/she will also provide the user details to login into the portal. After receiving the details, click the following link to visit the portal login
6. Enter the email address and password in the relevant fields and click “Log in” button.

• Cab-hailing companies who will have to verify their drivers, corporate organizations that need to verify new employees, are eligible to apply.
• Individuals who need to verify the personal details of their domestic staff (drivers, cooks, nannies etc.) are other users.
