Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To apply for registering a Copyrightin person, the applicant has to visit the office of the Nigerian Copyrights Commission.

3. Visit the office and obtain the application form for registering a Copyright from the respective department.
4. Make sure that you have all the required documents listed in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. Complete the application form as required with necessary information and attest with your signature.
6. Then, attach the documents required with the completed form proceed to submit it to the concerned official at the Office for further verification and application processing.
7. Also pay the required fees for the application process at the office as directed by the officials.
8. The application and the documents attached will be forwarded to the concerned departments for their scrutiny.
9. After all the processes are completed, concerned officials will approve the application and proceed with the license issuance process.
10. Once the registration certificate is ready to be collected, office will inform the applicant to collect it through any applicable means.

2. Complete the account page with required details under relevant fields and click “Submit” button.
3. Your account will be successfully created and you will be redirected to the login page. Enter the user details and click “Login” button.
4. After logging in, locate an appropriate option to complete the registration application
5. Click on it and complete the form by filling the required details under relevant fields.
6. Also, upload the required documents by following the on-screen instructions and make the required amount of fees payment as directed.
7. The application and the documents attached will be forwarded to the concerned departments for their scrutiny.
8. After all the processes are completed, concerned officials will approve the application and proceed with the license issuance process.
9. Once the registration certificate is ready to be collected, office will inform the applicant to collect it through any applicable means.
