Apply In-Person:
Buy vehicle insurance

1. To apply for Vehicle Insurance in person, the applicant has to first contact a licensed motor broker as applicable to his/her convenience.

3. Choose one among them and contact that one to know the procedure for obtaining a Motor Insurance.
4. He/she will assist you in choosing the best MotorInsurance Company. A list of recommended companies can be found in the following address details link
5. Choose a company of your convenience and make a visit to the office with the documents in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
6. Approach the relevant authority and obtain a quote by completing a Motor Proposal form which will be issued by the authority.
7. With respect to information provided, he/she will frame a quote and present it to you in some time.
8. Choose a plan of instalment for making the premium payment and submit the required documents as instructed.
9. The vehicle will be examined and evaluated for some official purposes for which you have to complete a Motor Insurance Physical Inspection Form.
10. Complete the process by following the instructions and you will have to sign an agreement policy document.
11. Carefully go through the terms and conditions and sign the policy with proper knowledge, then hand over it back to the authority.
12. Once all the internal processes are over, you will be issued with a Certificate for reference which will contain your policy particulars.
    

Renew vehicle insurance

1. To renew active vehicle insurance in person, the applicant has to visit the office of the Insurance Company in which you have obtained a policy for your vehicle.

3. Visit the office of your insurance company and obtain an application form for the renewal of the Vehicle Insurance policy.
4. Make sure that you have all the documents in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. Complete the application form as required and attach the required documents with the completed form.
6. Then submit the application package to the relevant authority at the office. Pay the required amount of fees as directed by the officials.
7. On checking and finding that the requirements have been furnished properly, the officials will proceed to perform further required actions.
8. You will have to sign an agreement policy document for the renewed policy of vehicle insurance.
9. Carefully go through the terms and conditions and sign the policy with proper knowledge, then hand over it back to the authority.
