Apply In-Person:

  1. To apply for obtaining a Telecommunication License in person, the applicant must visit the office of Nigerian Communications Commission.
  2. Address and contact details of the NCC can be found in the following page:contact link
  3. Visit the office and get an application form to apply for a Telecommunication license as applicable to your requirement from the respective department.
  4. You can also find the application forms in the following page: application forms
  5. Applicants, who wish to obtain a license type in which the terms, conditions and obligations, scope and limitations are specific to the service being provided, can download an Individual License Application Form.
  6. And those who wish to obtain a license type in which the terms and conditions/obligations are common to all license holders can download Class License Application Form.
  7. Make sure that you have all the documents listed in the “Required documents” section of this page.
  8. Now, complete the application form with appropriate information under relevant sections. Attest it with your signature once completed.
  9. Once completed filling the application form, attach the required documents with it and submit it in person to the relevant authority at the office.
  10. Non-refundable administrative fees must be paid as directed while submitting the application.
  11. After submission, the application and other documents will be forwarded for examination and verification processes.
  12. Once the verification and validation processes are over, the application will be approved and the officials will proceed to take required steps to issue the license.
  13. When the license document is ready to be collected, the applicant will be sent an SMS in the registered mobile number from the office and the applicant can collect it by themselves or arrange a courier service for collection.
