Procedure

'Apply Online

1. To apply for the petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF), you should make your application through the PTDF website portal by visiting this link: - PTDF.
2. On the website, select “ LOGIN WITH EXISTING ACCOUNT” if you already have an account or select “CREATE APPLICANT ACCOUNT” if you don’t have a registered account with the PTDF.
3. On the next page under create an applicant account, enter your Name, Email, and Phone number and then click on the “CREATE APPLICATION ACCOUNT” button to submit your information.
4. After you have successfully submitted the required information, go to your email account and open the email from the PTDF Scholarship Portal Account.
5. Read the email and click on the “Reset Password” hyperlink to be directed to the credential page.
6. Enter your password and then click on the “Change Password” button to go to the log-in page.
7. Please enter your email address and password to log in to your account.
8. Once signed in, click on the “Verify NIN” option at the top right of the webpage, and on the next page, enter your National Identification Number (NIN), and Names and then click on the “Verify” button to verify your NIN.
9. Once you have verified your NIN, select the “New Application” option on the top right side of the webpage to commence your online application.
10. Complete the online application form and upload all the required supporting documents and then submit the application for processing.
11. The PTDF committee will assess the application and shortlist the applicants who have been selected for an interview.
12. Visit the interview center and participate in the interview.
13. After the interview process, the committee will review the applications and the interview results to determine the most suitable persons to be awarded the scholarship based on the merits of the candidates.
14. If you are among the selected candidates, the committee will inform you through your contact details and issue the necessary information and documents regarding the awarded scholarship.

• NYSC Certificate or letter of exemption.
• WAEC/GCE/SSCE/NECO Result(s).
• Admission Letter (2019/2020 or 2020/2021 session).
• Personal Statement.
  

Ph.D. Applicants:

• Second Degree Certificates or Statement of Results.
• Ph.D. research proposal (The proposal template can be accessed via the applicant’s profile on the PTDF Scholarship Management Portal).
• Master’s Degree Certificate
