Apply In-Person:

  1. To apply for IPAN membership in person, the applicant has to visit the Secretariat of the Institute of Public Analysts of Nigeria (IPAN).
  2. The address and contact details can be found in the following contact link
  3. Visit the office and obtain a Membership form from the respective department by paying an appropriate fees amount.
  4. Read instructions on the Application Form and complete it as required. Attest it with your signature.
  5. Now, attach the documents mentioned in the “Required documents” section of this page and submit it to the relevant authority at the office.
  6. After submission, processing of application form, screening by the appropriate Committee and admission of qualified applicants into one of the Institute’s Professional training and examination level using approved criteria and verifiable information contained in applicant’s Curriculum Vitae and submitted documents, will take place.
  7. After completion of the required process and payment of all approved and applicable fees, the Registration of applicants as Student Members will be done based on the level of categorization.
  8. Further, Student Member undergoes professional training for the applicable level and required periodin line with the approved syllabus.
  9. At the appropriate time, each Student Member sits for the Institute’s professional examination.
  10. On the successful completion of training and final stage of the Institute’s professional examination, Student Members are admitted in membership (at an induction ceremony) after fulfilling other applicable requirements.
  11. Finally, they are registered and licensed as Public Analysts to practice in Nigeria.


Apply through email

  1. To apply for IPAN membership through email,the applicant has to make an application to the email address of the Institute of Public Analysts of Nigeria (IPAN).
  2. Firstly, the applicant must get an application form by requesting through email with the help of the following email address: [email protected]

  4. Read instructions on the Application Form and complete it as required. Attest it with your signature.
  5. Now, make a scanned copies of the completed application form and other documents mentioned in the “Required documents” section of this page.
  6. Submit it to the office through the following email address: [email protected] or [email protected]
  7. On receipt of application form, the applicant will be prompted to pay the fees for the application form.
  8. After a successful payment, processing of application form, screening by the appropriate Committee and admission of qualified applicants into one of the Institute’s Professional training and examination level using approved criteria and verifiable information contained in applicant’s Curriculum Vitae and submitted documents, will take place.

EligibilityEdit

  • The minimum qualification for registration as a trainee (Student member) is a Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma.
  • Also, the applicant must have a minimum of five (5) O’level credits, including English Language and Mathematics.
